When we embarked on building Pier 88, it was our sincere belief that the best way to manage investments is through a client-centric perspective. This founding principle is the foundation by which Pier 88 has built a great and enduring asset management firm. We recognize investment management is a craft that must be nourished and fostered through a culture of discipline, intellectual curiosity and passion for our clients. We recognized that hard work alone was not in itself sufficient; rather Pier 88 needed to be surrounded by a world class team who shared our integrity, vision and passion for excellence in investment management. Our collective years of experience inform us to seek opportunities when others with shorter-time horizons react impatiently. All of us at Pier 88 remain committed to being as transparent and deliberate in the steps we take to building an enduring firm, as we do in the investments we make on behalf of our clients.
